ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's tennis team was swept by Millikin 9-0 bringing their season record to 7-5, 1-5 in CCIW play.

In doubles play, Elmhurst's No. 1 pair of Jolene Neuhalfen and June Bering lost 3-8 to Millikin's Emily Markus and Paige Willer. The Big Blue Nikol Obradovic and D Galvan won 8-3 over Brynn Rubacky and Silvia Barak at No. 2 doubles. The closest doubles match was at No. 3 with Julia Kostinova and Megan Engstrom as they fell to Alex Ristfeldt and Katarina Carlberg 4-8.  
 
Millikin (9-1, 6-1 CCIW) also went undefeated in singles play. No. 1 Obradovic defeated Neuhalfen 6-0, 6-2. Markus made quick work at No. 2 singles taking the match 6-2, 6-1 over Kostinova. Bering lost at No. 3 doubles 6-1, 6-0 to Willer. Brianna Barconi played No. 4 singles and recording a victory over Rubacky 6-2, 6-2. Next Barak dropped two set to Ristfeldt 6-1, 6-0. Cristina Borunda played No. 6 singles and took the win 6-0, 6-1 over Engstrom. 

Elmhurst hosts Carroll on Saturday, October 15^th.
