NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's soccer team played North Central College to a scoreless 0-0 draw on the road in Naperville.
Elmhurst moved to 4-3-2 and 0-0-1 in the CCIW while North Central did not win for the first time this season, moving to 9-0-1 overall and 0-0-1 in the CCIW.
North Central outshot ELmhurst 28-4 in the contest and the Cardinals held an 11-3 edge in corner kicks, but the Bluejays' defense kept the Cardinals off the scoreboard for 110 minutes.
Noah Reed recorded the shutout in goal for the Bluejays, finishing the contest with 10 saves. Sid Marquardt earned the shutout in goal for the Cardinals, tallying one save.
Elmhurst plays at the University of Dubuque on Tuesday, September 28.
