BEAVER FALLS, Penn. – The Elmhurst University men's soccer team scored its second win of the season by defeating Geneva College 1-0 at Reeves Field.
 
The sole goal of the contest came in the 83^rd minute when Elmhurst's Noah Backhaus capitalized on a penalty kick to give the Bluejays the 1-0 win.
 
Elmhurst (2-2-1) outshot Geneva (1-1-1) 13-8 with five of those being on goal.
 
Noah Reed earned the shutout and win for Elmhurst with three saves while the Golden Tornadoes goalkeeper, Gabe Kemp, collected four saves. 
 
The Bluejays are back in action on Sunday, September 12, at Chatham University in Pittsburgh.
