ELMHURST, Ill. – Elmhurst's Jay Militello and Dominic Genco have both been named to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's all-conference men's basketball team.
 
Militello was a unanimous first-team selection at forward while Genco earned second-team honors at guard.
 
Militello, a senior from Streamwood and Fenwick High School, earned the first all-conference honor of his career after leading the Bluejays in both points and rebounding. He averaged a career-best 14.6 points and 7.6 rebounds over the Bluejays' limited 13-game schedule. He also led the team in assists with 32. He recorded four double-doubles on the season and scored a career-best 27 points in the Bluejays' CCIW Tournament win over Carroll University on March 6. He ranked 10th in the CCIW in scoring, sixth in assists and seventh in rebounding.
 
Genco, a senior from Zionsville, Ind., finished the season as the Bluejays' second-leading scorer and earned the first all-conference honor of his career in the process. Genco averaged 13.8 points per game while finishing second on the team in assists (29) and leading the team in steals with 17. He reached double figures in scoring seven times this season, including scoring a career-best 23 points against Illinois Wesleyan University in the CCIW Tournament on March 9. He ranked 14th in the CCIW in scoring and finished second in the conference in steals.
 
Elmhurst finished the 2020-21 shortened seasons with a 7-3 overall record. The Bluejays placed third in the final CCIW regular season standings.
