BLOOMINGTON, ILL. – The Elmhurst women's bowling squad improved to 12-4 on the season after posting a 2-2 record against Augustana College and Illinois Wesleyan University.
The Bluejays opened the day falling short to Augustana 758-753 in a standard match.
Kiersten Henderson led the Bluejays with a 178. She was assisted by
Katherine Pettinger's 167 and
Elena Vezmar's 162. The Bluejays then fell to Augustana 836-762 in a Baker match.
The Bluejays finished the day on a high note by sweeping a pair of contests from Illinois Wesleyan. Elmhurst topped Illinois Wesleyan 794-553 in their second standard match of the day.
Annie Durava led the squad with a 180 and
Makaylah Jones helped by posting a 172. Henderson rounded out the Bluejays' top three by rolling a 160. The Bluejays followed with a 799-508 win over the Titans in a Baker format.
