ELMHURST, Ill. - Elmhurst University's Ava David has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the inaugural week of the 2021-22 season. 

David earned the honor after a standout performance at last weekend's Olivet Nazarene University Holiday Invite. She won the 200 meter dash with an indoor personal-best time of 26.19 seconds. Her time is the second-fastest indoor 200 meter time in Elmhurst history. Her time also is the fastest mark in the CCIW and currently ranks fourth nationally in Division III. Davis also placed second in the 60 meter das, crossing the finish line with a personal best time of 8.07 seconds, the third-fastest time in Elmhurst history.
