WHEATON, Ill. – The Elmhurst University men's soccer team came up short in a 1-0 road loss at Wheaton College.

Elmhurst (7-7-2) fell a half-game behind Wheaton (8-5-1) for fourth place in the CCIW standings with the loss. The Bluejays moved to 3-3-1 in league play while Wheaton sits at 3-2-1 in the CCIW.
 
Wheaton's AJ Moyes accounted for all of the offense in the contest. Moyes connected on a Wheaton goal from 35 yards out after collecting a cross from Alessando D'Argento.
 
The game was evenly matched with Wheaton holding a slight 15-12 edge in shots and Elmhurst owning a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
 
Noah Reed took the loss in goal for Elmhurst despite allowing just one goal while recording five saves. Hasten Biddlecome earned the shutout for Wheaton, recording six saves in the victory.
 
Elmhurst hosts Carthage College on Wednesday, October 27.
