ELMHURST, Ill. - For the second time this season, Elmhurst's Noah Reed has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Defensive Player of the Week in men's soccer.

Reed earned the honor after posting a pair of shutouts in two CCIW victories last week. On Wednesday, Reed recorded one save in the Bluejays' 1-0 road win at Millikin. On Saturday, he finished with five saves while recording his sixth shutout of the season in goal in Elmhurst's 2-0 win over Carroll.

For the season, Reed owns a 6-5-2 record and a 1.36 goals against average. He's recorded 55 saves on the season.

Elmhurst hosts Augustana College on Wednesday, October 13.
