The Elmhurst men's soccer team fell 2-0 to St. Norbert in its season opener at the Bob Baptista Invitational.

The Details:

• It was a scoreless first half until Seth Boldt struck from the right edge of the box in the 39th minute to find the back of the net and give St. Norbert the lead, 1-0.
• Donnie Kvien had six saves in the first half to keep the Bluejays in the match and down by one goal at halftime.
• In the 57th minute of the match Lucas Rojas found Boldt open in front of the net where he finished his second goal of the day.
• St. Norbert outshot Elmhurst 13 to 10, but the Bluejays held a 5-3 edge in the second half.
