ELMHURST, Ill. – 
Larissa Arvanites scored a goal in her first game back from an injury as the Elmhurst women's lacrosse team fell to North Central College 26-1.
 
North Central upped its record to 12-2 overall and 4-1 in the CCIW while Elmhurst slipped to 1-10 overall and 0-5 in league play.
 
North Central scored the game's first seven goals over the first 10 minutes before Arvanites scored her eighth goal of the season, capitalizing on a free position attempt.
 
The Cardinals scored the next eight goals to build a 15-1 lead at the half. North Central tacked on 11 goals in the second half to pull away for the victory.
 
North Central outshot Elmhurst 45-2 in the contest and held a 29-13 edge in ground balls.
 
Madeline McHugh led the Cardinals with seven points on two goals and five assists. Christina Truver added six points on three goals and three assists.
 
Marissa Vaca recorded seven saves in goal for the Bluejays.
 
Elmhurst travels to Beloit College on April 22.
