BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's lacrosse team slipped to 0-3 in the CCIW after falling to Illinois Wesleyan University 23-0.
Illinois Wesleyan (10-2, 2-0 CCIW) outshot Elmhurst 28-2 in the contest, including 29-1 in the first half. The Titans scored 18 goals in the first half and tacked on five more in the second to seal the victory.
Grainne Kelly led the Titans with eight points, scoring four goals and totaling four assists. Claudion Richman added four goals and an assist while Sam Bidlack, Riley Rooney and Hayley Brothen finished with three goals apiece.
Marissa Vaca recorded nine saves in goal for the Bluejays.
Elmhurst hosts Dubuque on Saturday, April 13.
