Elmhurst's Jake Rhode has been named to D3hoops.com's All-Central Region Team. 

Rhode, a first-team College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin first-team all-conference selection, was tabbed to D3hoops.com's all-region third team.

Rhode, a sophomore guard from Chicago Heights, earned the first all-region honor of his career after starting all 26 games for the Bluejays and averaging a team-leading 19.9 points per game. He also led the team in assists (112), steals (47), free throws made (123) and free throw percentage (.842).
 
Named a CCIW Player of the Week earlier this season, Rhode ranked fourth in the league in scoring, averaging 18.3 points per game against league opponents. He finished as the league's co-leader in assists (74) and assists per game (4.63) while also ranking second in the conference in steals (25) and steals per game (1.56).

Named the CCIW Freshman of the Year in 2017-18, Rhode has career totals of 985 points and 268 assists over 58 career games.
