ELSAH, Ill. - The Elmhurst men's soccer team surrendered three second half goals while falling to Principia College 4-1.
Elmhurst slipped to 1-6 overall with the loss.
Principia got on the scoreboard first, taking a 1-0 lead on a Kaleb Keller goal just nine minutes into the game. Elmhurst's answered back just 95 seconds later when
Daniel Anderer scored off an assist from Austin Culer.
The score was even at 1-1 at the half, but Principia found the back of the net three times in the second half to earn the victory. Seth Arens scored in the 56th minute then George Agai (79th minute) and Keller (84th minute) both tacked on insurance goals for the Panthers.
Elmhurst hosts Kalamazoo College on Saturday, September 22.
