NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Elmhurst volleyball team suffered a 20-25, 25-22, 15-25, 21-25 loss to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse at the CCIW/WIAC Crossver hosted by North Central College. 

Elmhurst fell to 4-8 on the year while UW-La Crosse moved to 8-4 with the win. 

Elmhurst hit .155 for the match with 45 kills and 22 errors in 148 attempts. Alli Rogers powered Elmhust in the loss with 16 kills and 13 digs. Hannah Davis added 14 kills for the Bluejays. Kelly Townsend totaled a team-best 27 assists while Amy Schryver led the squad in digs with 27. Cyle Harrison finished with a team-leading four blocks to go with four kills. 

UW-La Crosse hit .229 with 54 kills and 18 errors in 157 attempts. Stephanie Henk led the way for the Eagles with 20 kills and 11 digs. Jessica Jablonski and Laine Hoeffel finished with eight kills apiece. Maddie Entinger totaled 34 assists and Halle Barnabo totaled 25 digs.

Elmhurst plays UW-Stout tomorrow (September 23).
