RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's lacrosse team came up just short in a 10-7 loss at Concordia University-Chicago.
Originally started on April 5, the game was halted due to an injury. The game was resumed tonight with Concordia outscoring Elmhurst 7-3 in the second half en route to the win.

Grace Knoebel and 
Sam Sepke all registered goals for Elmhurst in the first half while the Bluejays built a 4-3 lead. 
Concordia (5-11) scored four straight goals to start the second half. Sydney Fuller and Anna Keller scored a minute apart from free position to put the Cougars up 5-4. Fuller and Margaret Doane added goals to give the Cougars a three-goal lead with nine minutes remaining.
Elmhurst rallied back, closing to within a goal with just under six minutes remaining after back-to-back goals from Knoebel and Sepke. 
Fuller helped put the game out of reach for Concordia with goals 35 seconds apart. Hannah Johnson scored for the Cougars with 2:46 remaining to put Concordia up 10-6. Stidham scored the final goal for Elmhurst with 1:31 remaining to make the final score 10-7. 
Concordia outshot Elmhurst 32-23 in the contest and finished with a 15-5  edge in draw controls. 
Knoebel, Sepke and Stidham scored two goals apiece to lead Elmhurst in the loss. 
Megan Keener took the loss in goal despite recording 10 saves. 
Fuller led Concordia in the win with four goals. Jessica Jaimes added two for the Cougars. 
Elmhurst (2-13) plays at Illinois Wesleyan University on Wednesday, April 26.
