ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst women's lacrosse team fell to Adrian 17-3.

Elmhurst (0-7) started its scoring in the second half.
Grace Knoebel netted a pair of free-position shots and
Annette Stidham added her first of the season.Â

After a lopsided first half, the Bulldogs (1-5) outscored the Bluejays 4-3 in the second half on their way to the victory.

Knoebel started as Elmhurst's goalkeeper and made seven saves in the first half before transitioning to attacker. She also led the team in shots and ground balls with four each.
Megan Keener took her spot in net for the final 30 minutes and stopped four Adrian attempts.

Emily Smith led the Bulldogs' offense with five goals and two assists, while Annie Rice had a five-point afternoon (two goals, three assists).
