WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Elmhurst women's tennis team dropped its second straight CCIW contest, falling 6-3 at Carroll University.

Elmhurst (3-7, 2-6 CCIW) scored one win in doubles competition and took home a pair of singles victories. 

In doubles play, Elmhurst's pairing of Chiara Gaudio and Kathryn Wheler upended Carroll's Shanna Mogden and Lora Leach 8-5 at No. 2 doubles. 

Rachel Rettger defeated Tiff Maggiocalda 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3 singles while Wheeler followed with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Leach at No. 4 singles. 

Elmhurst competes at the CCIW Championships on October 19-21.
