AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Elmhurst baseball team stretched its winning streak to four with a doubleheader sweep of the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
The Bluejays (9-3) outscored the Dolphins (1-7) 23-6 in the two games.

Christian OttMcReynolds manufactured a run in the first, reaching on a single, stealing second, moving to third on a wild pitch, and scoring on a groundout by
Brandon Kressner. CMSV answered with a tally of its own in the second. In the third, Struck scored on a wild pitch and Ott singled home another run to lift the Bluejays to a 3-1 lead.
In the fourth and the fifth, the Bluejays piled on ten runs to pull away. Elmhurst combined for eight hits and were aided by two Dolphin errors in the two innings.
CMSV tacked on three runs in the bottom of the seventh, but it was too little too late.
Kiko Mari earned his second win of the year, tossing 6.1 innings and allowing two runs on just one hit.
Daryl Rivera registered the final two outs and let one run cross the plate.
Ott (three), Struck (two), and Kressner (two) all knocked in multiple runs for the Bluejays, while four Elmhurst players scored two runs.

Austin MacMillanThe Bluejays poured it on early, taking a 4-0 lead after two innings. In the first, Kressner and Havel recorded back-to-back triples with both scoring in the inning. Three Elmhurst hits and two CMSV errors helped the Bluejays put up two in the second.
The Bluejays once again did damage in the late innings, piling on six combined between the fifth and sixth innings.
A.J. Compton singled home two in the fifth and then Rivera knocked one home later in the inning. Havel recorded his second triple of the game, plating a pair in the sixth before the next batter, Struck, knocked in the pinch-runner Ott.
MacMillan allowed just two runs in seven innings, while striking out eight and issuing no free passes. The Dolphins scored their runs in the sixth and seventh off of the Elmhurst starter.
Elmhurst takes a day off before facing Fontbonne University on Thursday, March 24 at 11:15 Eastern time.Â
