DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Elmhurst men's soccer team slid to 7-5-3 overall following a 3-0 road loss at Loras College.
After a scoreless opening half, Loras (9-4) broke the game open with three unanswered goals in the second half. Kyler Olson scored off a Jonah Jacke feed in the 53rd minute. Olson made it 2-0 with his second goal just four minutes later, scoring off an assist from Alex Bradley.Â
Bradley helped put the game away for the Duhawks with a goal in the 66th minute.Â
Loras outshot Elmhursst 20-10 in the contest and had a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
Nick King recorded three saves in goal for the Bluejays while Jacob Peterson earned the shutout for Loras by stopping two shots.Â
Elmhurst hosts Carthage College on Wednesday, October 19.Â
