ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst men's soccer team opened the Elmhurst College Adidas Classic with a 1-0 loss to the University of St. Thomas.
The Tommies (2-0) put up what proved to be the deciding goal in the opening minutes. Shae Bottum put a crossing pass off of an Elmhurst defender and right to the feet of Pierce Erickson who took one touch and pushed a shot towards the far post. Elmhurst keeper

Jake Cohen's head.
