LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Four freshmen led the Elmhurst men's soccer team to its first win of the season, a 3-1 victory over Spalding University.

Andrew Moore added to the lead in 23rd minute, scoring unassisted on a scramble in the box.
Spalding's Austin Lanham cut the lead to one in the 34th minute and the 2-1 score would hold until halftime.
Josh ArvidsonIn the 70th minute,
Josh Arvidson gave the Bluejays some breathing room off a
Keegan Thompson assist. Like Johnson, Arvidson scored on the first shot of his collegiate career.
Elmhurst out shot the Golden Eagles 12-8, including nine shots on goal.
Nick King earned the win by making four saves, including three in the second half. Spalding's Eric Goranflo took the loss despite stopping six Elmhurst chances.
The Bluejays look for their second consecutive win when they travel to Hanover College (Ind.) this Sunday, September 20 for a 12:00 Eastern, 11:00 Central start.
