ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Hannah Nimrick recorded her third consecutive triple-double while leading the Elmhurst volleyball team to a 25-17, 25-19, 25-17 victory over Fontbonne University at the Washington University in St. Louis Tournament.

Nimrick totaled a team-best 13 kills and 25 kills while co-leading the squad in digs with 11. She hit .650 for the match with no errors in 20 attempts.

Elmhurst fell behind early in the opening set, but responded with an 8-1 run to grab a 14-10 advantage. An ace from Nimrick sealed the opening set for the Bluejays at 25-17.

Elmhurst led from wire-to-wire in the second, building a quick five-point advantage before pulling away for the six-point victory. The Bluejays quickly built a five-point advantage in the third and never allowed Fontbonne to come any closer than a three-point deficit before pulling away for the eight-point win.

Elmhurst hit .265 for the match with 43 kills and 16 errors in 102 attempts. Mel Lundin added seven kills and 11 digs for the Bluejays. Olivia Parks added eight kills for the Bluejays.

Fontbonne hit .108 for the match with 25 kills and 16 errors in 83 attempts. Kristina Eason led the way for the Griffins with eight kills in the loss.

Elmhurst wraps up the tournament by taking on Buena Vista University later this afternoon.
