RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Elmhurst baseball team was limited to only six hits and was kept off the scoreboard in a 14-0 road loss at Concordia University-Chicago.

Concordia (24-13) broke the game open in the first inning, batting around by sending 10 batters to the plate. The Cougars scored six runs on six hits to race out to an early cushion.

The Cougars tacked on a run in the second and two in the fourth to build a 9-0 advantage before cruising to the 14-run victory.
Zach Tsiodras accounted for four of Elmhurst's six hits in the loss, finishing a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate.

Jake Tiso finished with one hit apiece for the Bluejays.

Ryan Millan took the loss for Elmhurst, surrendering 11 hits and nine runs (eight earned) in 3.1 innings of work. He walked one and struck out one.

Mitch Wilson powered Concordia at the plate, finishing 3-for-4 with a run scored and three driven in. Kevin Coppin collected three hits and scored three times for the Cougars while Brent Spohr knocked in three runs for Concordia.

Mike Formella earned the win for Concordia, limiting Elmhurst to only three hits in six innings of work. He walked one and struck out six. C.J. Selner tossed three scoreless innings to earn the save.
