ELMHURST, Ill. - Nick King recorded a shutout and Sam Johnson netted the game-winning goal as the Elmhurst men's soccer team evened its CCIW record at 2-2 with a 1-0 win over Millikin University. 

After a scoreless first half, Sam Johnson netted the game's only goal in the 52nd minute. Austin Larsen lifted a corner into the box and Johnson redirected it inside the far post. 

Nick King recorded a shutout for the Bluejays, stopping five shots, including two diving saves late in the first half.

The teams split the game's 24 shots. Daniel Sinclair made seven saves for Millikin. 

Elmhurst hosts Maranatha Baptist University Tuesday, October 20 at 3:00 p.m.
