Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. - Jeff Kading netted his first goal of the season to lead the Elmhurst men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Olivet College.

Jeff KadingElmhurst improved to 6-2-2 with the win while Olivet fell to 4-5-0 with the loss.
Kading blasted a 30-yard strike to the far left side of the net to account for the contest's only goal in the 23rd minute.
The one goal was all Elmhurst needed as the Bluejays outshot the Comets 20-8 in the contest. Elmhurst's defense limited Olivet to only one shot on goal for the entire 90 minutes. Olivet's best chance came in the 78th minute of the match, but Elmhurst's
John Reglin made a leaping save of Olivet's Cory Werner-Hoskins' shot to preserve the shutout.
Reglin improved to 6-2-2 on the season and notched his sixth shutout of the season in the process. Olivet's Alex Lang took the loss in net, recording six saves and allowing just Kading's goal.
Elmhurst, ranked sixth in the latest NSCAA Central Region poll, opens CCIW play by traveling to Wheaton College on October 3.
