Mike Emig both scored goals to propel Elmhurst Men's Soccer to a 2-0 win over UW-Superior in their season opener.

Jeff Kading throw-in to the back post. Stiffler headed the ball into the back of the net, giving Elmhurst a 1-0 lead.
Kading recorded his second assist when he lifted a ball to the feet of Emig in the 41st minute. One-on-one with his defender, Emig brought the ball to his right foot and smashed a shot past Yellowjackets' goalkeeper Matt Elder to extend the Elmhurst lead.
The Bluejay back line was stellar as well, not allowing any of UW-Superior's five shots to be on goal. Elmhurst recorded 14 shots in the game, five of which were on target.
Reglin recorded his first win and shutout of the season without recording a save.
The Bluejays host Concordia (Wis.) Saturday at 6:30.
