Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst volleyball team, ranked 11th in the latest AVCA national poll, remained unbeaten in CCIW play with a three-set win over Augustana College.

Elmhurst (11-4, 3-0 CCIW) cruised past Augustana (12-3, 2-1 CCIW) 25-17, 25-13, 25-15. Elmhurst led the entire match, never trailing

Sam Szarmach powered the Elmhurst offense with 10 kills while Antonéya Veasy Smith added eight kills and four digs. Megan Reynolds finished with eight kills and a match-high five blocks. Marci Novak added six kills and 10 digs while Kaitlyn Wilks finished with five kills and four blocks. Erin Thill led the squad in assists with 26 while Perrie Morgan added 10 digs.

The Bluejays hit .273 as a squad and finished with nine blocks.

Elmhurst travels to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater tournament this weekend (September 28-29).
