Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst volleyball team, ranked ninth in the latest AVCA Division III national poll, remained unbeaten in CCIW play with a three-set win over Wheaton College.

Elmhurst (15-4 overall, 4-0 CCIW) rolled past Wheaton (4-15, 0-5 CCIW) 25-12, 25-19, 25-16.

The Bluejays hit .488 for the match, committing only seven errors in 80 attempts.

Marci Novak led the Elmhurst offense, pounding down 13 kills while hitting .579. Novak also added a team-leading 13 digs to go along with two aces and two blocks. Antonéya Veasy Smith added 11 kills (hitting .526) while Megan Reynolds finished with eight kills and four blocks. Sam Szarmach chipped in with seven kills while not committing an error (.583 attack percentage). Hannah Lessen added 11 digs while Erin Thill totaled a team-leading 27 assists. Perrie Morgan added seven digs in the Elmhurst victory.

The Bluejays travel to the University of Chicago triangular on Saturday (October 6).
