ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College volleyball team upped its record to 3-1 on the season by defeating Beloit College and Lake Forest College to conclude the two-day Elmhurst College Invitational.

ELMHURST 3, BELOIT 0 - Elmhurst opened the day with a 25-14, 25-20, 25-21 victory over Beloit College.

Megan Reynolds and Taylor Rasmussen led the Bluejays with eight kills apiece. Reynolds added two blocks while Rasmussen totaled stuffed three Beloit attacks. Antonéya Veasy Smith and Hannah Lessen added five kills apiece. Lessen led the team in digs with nine. Erin Thill totaled a team-leading 14 kills and added six digs while Katie Rueffer chipped in with 10 assists.

ELMHURST 3, LAKE FOREST 1 - Elmhurst moved to 3-1 on the season with a 25-14, 21-25, 25-12, 25-16 four-set win over Lake Forest College.

Reynolds smashed 19 kills and totaled three blocks to lead the Bluejays in the victory. Veasy Smith added 10 kills while Marci Novak turned in a nine-kill, eight-dig, three-block performance. Lessen added 19 kills and a team-leading 18 digs while Thill led the squad with 30 assists. Perrie Morgan added 19 digs while Rueffer totaled 20 assists for the Bluejays.

Reynolds and Thill were both named to the all-tournament team for their effort.

Elmhurst plays at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Triangular on Wednesday, September 7.
