ADRIAN, Mich. - Brian McMahon and Keith Thurman each netted a goal to lift the Elmhurst College men's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout victory Adrian College.

Elmhurst improved to 4-3 with the victory and notched its second shutout of the season. The Bluejays outshot Adrian (1-5) 16-11 in the the contest and had a 7-6 advantage in corner kicks.

McMahon put Elmhurst on the scoreboard in the 31st minute when he scored off of a rebound. Thurman headed home a free kick from Jon Brehm in the 68th minute for Elmhurst's second goal. 

Sebastian Domczewski recorded five saves in goal for the Bluejays while recording his first shutout of the season. Adrien goalie Alex Pavlika allowed two goals and recorded three saves in net for the Bulldogs. 

The Bluejays travel to Edgewood College on Wednesday, September 22.
