BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Elmhurst College volleyball team kicked off the CCIW portion of its schedule with a 19-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-20 come-from-behind win over Illinois Wesleyan University. 

After dropping the first set, Elmhurst (5-4 overall, 1-0 in the CCIW) rallied to win the next three straight sets and take the match.

Megan Reynolds and Meghan Mullaney powered the Bluejays offense in the win, Mullaney totaled a team-leading 14 kills to go along with 15 digs. Reynolds finished the match with 13 kills and a team-leading six blocks. Hannah Lessen totaled 12 kills and 24 digs while Paige Fombelle chipped in with 11 kills. Erin Thill finished with 38 assists, three kills and 18 digs. Perrie Morgan led the team in digs, totaling 26 for the match.

Elmhurst takes a week off before continuing CCIW play by hosting  North Central College on  September 21, at 7:00 p.m.
