OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Elmhurst College volleyball team moved to 5-5 overall after splitting a pair of matches on the final day of the University of WIsconsin-Oshkosh Invitational.

Elmhurst started the day with a disapointing five-set loss to Lake Forest College, but the Bluejays rebounded to defeat Lakeland College in four sets, posting a 2-2 overall record at the tournament. 

LAKE FOREST 3, ELMHURST 2 - Elmhurst slipped to 4-5 on the season following a 20-25, 25-11, 25-18, 18-25, 13-15 loss to Lake Forest College. 

Meghan Mullaney and Paige Fombelle each recorded 10 kills to pace Elmhurst in the loss. Mullaney added 12 digs while Fombelle totaled five blocks. Kaitlyn Wilks totaled eight kills and six blocks and Janelle Thompson recorded seven kills. Megan Reynolds recorded seven blocks. Erin Thill and Katie Rueffer finished with 17 assists apiece. Thill added 18 digs while Perrie Morgan tallied a team-leading 22 digs.

ELMHURST 3, LAKELAND 1 - The Bluejays evened their record at 5-5 by defeating Lakeland College 25-21, 22-25, 25-12, 25-20. 

Reynolds powered the Elmhurst attack with nine kills and a team-leading 11 blocks. Thompson chipped in with nine kills while Elise Cregg recorded seven kills. Thill led the squad in assists with 20, while Reufer totaled 18 assists, nine digs, and three aces. Morgan inished with 25 digs and Hannah Lessen added 13 for the Bluejays.

Elmhurst travels to Illinois Wesleyan University on Tuesday, September 14.
