WHEATON, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's soccer team fell to 6-6 overall and 0-3 in CCIW play after falling 3-0 to Wheaton College.

Wheaton's Cameron Risma broke a scoreless tie when he scored off of a Chad Musgraves pass with just over three minutes remaining in the opening half.

The Thunder quickly padded their lead in the second half. Jordan Golz headed home a Josh Clark corner kick less than seven minutes into the half to put Wheaton on top 2-0. Clark tacked on an insurance goal in the 81st minute when he scored off a feed from Risma.

Wheaton (3-6-3, 1-0 CCIW) outshot Elmhurst 15-13 but the Thunder had a 9-2 shots on goal advantage. 

Ryan Seager earned the shutout in goal for the Thunder by stopping both shots he faced. Sebastian Domczewski recorded five saves while allowing two goals in 62 minutes. Ryan Miller played the game's final 28 minutes and allowed one goal while recording one save.

Elmhurst hosts Lake Forest College at Berens Park on Friday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m.
