ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's soccer team closed out the 2010 season with a 1-0 shutout win over Augustana College at Berens Park.

Luke Froehlich found the back of the net in the 25th minute to account for the game's only goal.

Augustana (8-10-1, 4-3 CCIW) outshot Elmhurst 16-15, but the VIkings couldn't get the ball past Elmhurst keeper Sebastian Domczewski. Domczewski recorded 11 saves in goal to earn the shutout victory.

Augustana's Tyler Cowherd stopped six shots in goal for the Vikings while taking the loss.

Elmhurst closed out the 2010 campaign with a 10-8-0 overall record and a 3-4-0 mark in conference play.
