LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College volleyball team upped its record to 15-9 overall by winning a pair of matches at the Lake Forest College Triangular.

The Bluejays began the day with a 25-12, 25-19, 25-16 victory over Ripon College. Elmhurst avenged an earlier season loss to to Lake Forest by toppling the Foresters 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

ELMHURST 3, RIPON 0 - Elmhurst scored its 14th win of the season by toppling Ripon College in three sets. Kaitlyn Wilks led Elmhurst with 11 kills and a pair of blocks. Hannah Lessen chipped in with 10 kills, 20 digs, and two blocks. Megan Reynolds tallied eight kills while Janelle Thompson finished with seven kills. Perrie Morgan finished with a team-leading 24 digs while Erin Thill recorded 26 assists and 10 digs. Katie Rueffer tallied 10 assists for the Bluejays.

ELMHURST 3, LAKE FOREST 0 - Elmhurst downed Lake Forest College in three sets to score their 15th win of the season. Trailing in the second set, the Bluejays used seven straight points from Marci Novak's serve to recapture the lead en route to the three-set victory.

Reynolds finished with seven kills, three aces, and four blocks while Thompson totaled six kills. Lessen recorded five kills and nine digs for the Bluejays. Morgan led the team in digs with 14 while Thill totaled 13. Rueffer led the squad in assists with 16 while Thill totaled 13.

Elmhurst hosts Wheaton College on Tuesday, October 19.
