Bluejay Volleyball Team Defeats North Park

ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College volleyball team began conference play with a 25-18, 25-10, 25-18 victory over North Park University.

Elmhurst moved to 4-5 overall and 1-0 in league play with the victory.

Caitlin O'Hara led the Bluejays in the victory by pounding down nine kills. Paige Fombelle, Melissa Miehlke, and Lisa Burger all totaled eight kills apiece in the win. Katie Buechel added a team-leading 17 digs while Lindy Melville led the squad in assists with 30.

Elmhurst continues CCIW play on Thursday, September 17, by traveling to Wheaton College.
