NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Brian McMahon netted a hat trick to lift the Elmhurst College men's soccer team to a 3-1 victory at North Central College.

With the victory, the Bluejays improved to 8-3-1 overall and remained unbeaten (3-0) in CCIW play. North Central slipped to 5-7-0 overall and 1-2 in league matches.

McMahon put Elmhurst on the scoreboard just 4:08 into the game as he found the back of the net off a Jake Pahr corner kick.

North Central evened the score in the 17th minute when Pete Zimmerman scored off a Nico Galto feed.

McMahon put Elmhurst back on top with an unassisted goal in the 23rd minute. He completed the hat trick with a goal off a Ken Miller assist in the 31st minute.

Sebastian Domczewski recorded 11 saves in goal while earning the win for the Bluejays. Phillip Klipp stopped six shots while taking the loss for the Cardinals.

Elmhurst plays at Millikin University on Friday, October 6.
