ELMHURST, Ill. - Despite claiming the first two sets, the Elmhurst College women's volleyball team fell to North Central in a thrilling five set contest Tuesday night.

The Bluejays captured the oepning set 28-26 and followed up with a 25-21 decision in the second. North Central rallied to win 25-23 in the third and 25-21 in the fourth to force the decisive set. The Cardinals won the back and forth frame 16-14 to capture their 14th win of the season and drop the Bluejays to 1-3 in CCIW play.

Morgan Jones led the attack with 15 kills and three solo blocks while Alison Friedrich added 13 kills and also recorded three solo blocks. Caitlin O'Hara contributed 12 kills. Defensively Jameela Chaudhry and Erika Lindstrom each tallied 15 digs. Emily Hilliker finished with 23 assists and Lindy Melville added 20.

The Bluejays (10-9) will participate in the North Central Tournament this weekend in Naperville.
