    Graduate Assistant Tennis Coach

Tad Keely is in his second season as the Bluejays Graduate Assistant Coach for tennis.

Keely has been coaching tennis for the past 11 seasons, coaching both boys' and girls' teams at Oswego High School and West Aurora High School. He's currently in his eighth year as the Head Boy's Tennis Coach at Glenbard West High School. During his time at Glenbard West, Keely has coached six all-state selection in both singles and doubles. His former players have gone on to play NCAA Division I and NCAA Division III tennis. This past season Glenbard West had a doubles team finish sixth in the state tournament, the highest finish for a boy’s doubles team over the last 25 years. Keely has also coached football and basketball in his time at Glenbard West. 

A 2006 graduate of Oswego High School, Keely was an all-conference selection in football,bBasketball and tennis. He played both singles and doubles in high school and was a two-time state qualifier.  Following high school, Keely was a three-yearletterwinner as a long snapper at the University of Illinois from 2006-2010.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2010 in Spanish Linguistics and Literature from U of I and obtained a Master’s degree from Lewis University in 2012 in School Counseling. He currently works as a school counselor at Glenbard West High School and is enrolled in the Industrial Organizational Psychology program at Elmhurst University.  

Keely resides in Bloomingdale with his wife, Brittney, and two sons, Kobane and Kash. Â
