Elmhurst University Athletics

Maria Avgerinos is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Elmhurst women's tennis team.

Avgerinos comes to Elmhurst after playing the last three years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Avgerinos was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and was named an ITA All-American Scholar Athlete during her senior year. She spent her freshman season at Syracuse University. 

She posted a 15-19 overall record while playing primarily No. 1 singles during her senior year. She finished her career with 46 singles victories and 33 doubles contests.
