Abby Nelson is in her second year as an assistant coach with the Elmhurst University women's and men's tennis teams.
Nelson graduated from Cornell College with a degree in business management in 2020. During her time at Cornell, Nelson played tennis for all four seasons and served as captain during her junior and senior years. She was a four-year member of the Student-Athletes Advisory Committee (SAAC) and served as president of the organization as a senior.
Nelson coached under Elmhurst Head Coach Mark Cunnington for the Glen Ellyn Park District over the summers.
She is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports administration at Northwestern University.
