Wes Lomnicki

Wes Lomnicki is entering his 10th season as an assistant coach with the Bluejays.

Lomnicki played collegiate soccer at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and was a part of a team that made four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. As a senior captain, he anchored a back line that allowed only 13 goals for the 2007 season, setting a school record for fewest goals allowed. He earned all-region honors as a senior.

Lomnicki holds an NSCAA Premier Diploma and was named as one of NSCAA's 30 Under 30 coaches for 2013. He is also a staff coach at Oak Brook Soccer Club.

He holds a Masters in Recreation and Sport Science with a focus in Soccer Coaching. The program was completed through Ohio University, and is the only sport specific master’s degree program in the United States. Lomnicki is currently one of only 44 coaches in the country to hold this degree.
