Patrick Saporito

Patrick Saporito is entering his second season with the Bluejays' coaching staff as an assistant coach working with the tight ends and superbacks.

In 2014 he helped Bluejays' tight end Garrett Claxon earn all-conference, all-region and All-America honors.

Saporito spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Stetson University in Florida, working with the team's safeties.

Before joining the coaching staff at Stetson, Saporito coached the wide receivers at Alderson-Broaddus College in West Virginia in 2011. He also coached the wide receivers and tight ends at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 2010.

Saporito also had a coaching stop as an assistant working with the wide receivers at the University of Charleston in 2009.

Saporito graduated from Iona College in 2006 and then spent two seasons as a wide receiver at Western New Mexico University while attending graduate school.
