Dean Pauley

Dean Pauley

Dean Pauley is in his second season with the Elmhurst football team working as a graduate assistant coach with the Bluejays' cornerbacks.

Pauley played football at Benedictine University and was part of the 2014 squad that captured a conference championship and earned an NCAA Championships berth. He earned all-conference honors as a wide receiver in 2017, catching 54 passes for 708 yards.

Pauley began his coaching career as a Football Operations Intern at North Central College and was part of the Cardinals' team that won the 2018 CCIW Championship and played in the NCAA Championships. 

In 2019, Pauley worked as an assistant defensive backs coach at the College of DuPage. While at DuPage, he aided in coaching a defensive backfield that finished top-five nationally in interceptions in 2019. The College of DuPage football team also ended the season as the 2019 Red Grange Bowl Champions which recognizes the best non-scholarship junior college program.

Pauley earned his bachelor's degree from Benedictine in 2018.
