Blaine Macius is entering his third year with the Bluejays' coaching staff. Macius is serving as anassistant coach responsible for working with the team's defensive line for the second straight season. In 2015, he coached the defensive ends at Elmhurst.
Macius spent the 2014 season coaching special teams and the offensive and defensive lines at Notre Dame College Prep. He also helped coach baseball from 2013-15.Â
Macius spent two seasons at Wabash College before transferring to Roosevelt University where he majored in biology.
While at Wabash, Macius assisted the coaching staff with recruitment, breaking down game film and game planning. At Roosevelt, he served as the Director of Intramural Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
He currently resides in Arlington Heights.Â
