Ben Gray returns for his 12th year on the Bluejays’ coaching staff. Gray serves as the team's strength and conditioning coach while also working with the linebackers. 

In his 11 seasons with the Bluejays, Gray has coached 10 all-conference players (nine linebackers and one defensive lineman) and three all-region honorees.

Gray recently attended the 2016 NCAA and NFL Coaches Academy where he was one of 29 NCAA coaches who joined 30 NFL representatives at the 2016 academy. The keynote speakers and panelists included NCAA athletics directors, current and former NCAA and NFL head coaches, and football industry experts.

Prior to coming to Elmhurst, Gray spent two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

A 2003 graduate of UW-River Falls, Gray played cornerback and linebacker from 1998-2001. He served as team captain and earned all-conference honors during the 2001 season.

Gray and his wife, Meredith, have two children, Sophia and Jack.
