Erik Swanson is in his eighth season as an assistant baseball coach at Elmhurst. 

A four-year letterwinner with the Bluejays, Swanson made 43 relief appearances in his time with Elmhurst, finishing his career with six saves, 41.2 innings pitched, 20 strikeouts, and a 6-4 record. As a Sophomore, Swanson led the team in wins (four), saves (three), and ERA (2.35), while also striking out five batters and held opponents to a .185 average in 15.1 innings pitched.
