WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Elmhurst University men's golf team finished in a two-way tie for ninth place at the Benedictine University Eagle Invite on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at the St. Andrews Golf & Country Club.
Brandon Yeh led the way for the Bluejays, carding a 77 (+5) to finish in a tie for 34
th place.
Riley Taylor followed with a 78 (+6), earning a share of 40
th place.
Noah Krebs and
Jack Krueger each posted a 79 (+7) to finish tied for 50
th, while
Quinn Ross rounded out the Elmhurst lineup with an 82 (+10) to finish tied for 73
rd.
Competing individually,
Mason Stieler turned in Elmhurst's lowest score of the day with a 74 (+2), finishing in a tie for 16
th place.
Brandon Sweeney shot an 80 (+8), while
Carson Conklin carded a 96 (+24).
As a team, the Bluejays posted a score of 313 (+25).
Up Next: The Bluejays travel to Lake Geneva, Wis. for The Grand Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stout, on Oct. 4-5. Action is set to begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. on Monday from the Grand Geneva Resort (Highlands Course).
