KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The Elmhurst University men's golf team finished in 17^th place at the Midwest Region Classic, hosted by Benedictine University, on September 25 and 26 at Brighton Dale Links.

Lachlan Bowen led the Bluejays in the second round, shooting a just one over par. The St. Charles, Ill. native opened with a 37 on the front nine before closing with a 36 on the back nine. His 73 was a five-stroke improvement from his opening-round 78, giving him a two-round total of 151 (+7, T-68^th).

Anay Saxena and Noah Krebs each posted second round scores of 76. Saxena shot an even-par 36 on the front nine and a 40 on the back nine to finish the two rounds with a 149 (+5, T-42^nd). Krebs followed a 40 on the front nine with a 36 on the back nine and finished with a 152 (+14, T-149^th).

Mason Stieler carded a 77 in the second round after opening the tournament with an even-par 72. Stieler finished the with a two-round total of 149 (+5, T-42^nd).

Quinn Ross rounded out the competing Bluejays with a 36-hole total of 172 (+28, T-226^th).

Elmhurst posted a team score of 606 (+30), improving by two strokes from day one (304) to day two (302).

Up Next: The Bluejays travel to West Chicago, Ill. for the Benedictine University Eagle Invite. Action is set to begin at 9 a.m. from the St. Andrews Golf & Country Club.
