ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Elmhurst University women's soccer team fell, 4-0, to No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis on Sunday, Sept. 13 at Francis Olympic Field.
WashU (5-0-0) took the lead following an own goal at 5:42 and Cami Colpitts scored 46 seconds later to give the Bears a 2-0 lead at halftime. WashU added two more goals in the second half to earn the 4-0 victory. Elmhurst (4-1-0) goalkeeper Erin Fitzharris totaled six saves before Sequoia Ross entered in the 75th minute.
Up Next: The Bluejays continue action on the road at Ripon College in Ripon, Wis. on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from Hopp Stadium.
